The Palm Residency Salem – Basic Facility

The Palm Residency can be one of the ideal lodges in Salem for the travelers on the go. However, this property is not for those looking for cheap lodges in Salem city.

Palm Residency is about 15 kms from Salem City

The Palm Residency is about 15 kms from Salem city towards Erode. We made an advance booking and paid money while checking in. We paid Rs. 1500 for an AC room with two cots. There is no restaurant inside the building but there is the popular A2B restaurant opposite to it. Parking may not be an issue.

Palm Residency Reception

We were doing Navagraha Temple Tour from Bangalore. As we started late in the evening, we decided to halt for the night in Salem and booked the room in Palm Residency. We reached the property at about 10.30 pm. The check in process was quick at the reception.

Always carry ID proofs while checking into the hotels

Opposite to the Palm Residency is the Adyar Ananda Bhavan restaurant. We did not go there as we had our dinner at the Murugan Idli Shop in Krishnagiri.

The rooms

The rooms in the hotel were clean and equipped with basic things like good bedspreads, A/c and television. The restroom was clean and they provided two clean towels. I saw single bath soap for the lucky ones to use it first.
