Go to Nimishamba Temple and you will find at least more than a dozen goats. The temple is in Srirangapatna, Karnataka, on the banks of river Cauvery.

There is a belief that goddess Nimishamba will ward off the problems of her devotees within a minute and that is why her name is Nimishamba. Nimisha in Kannada language means a minute.

If your plan is for temple visit, you got to wait in the big Queue during the weekends, holidays and on special days. However, if your intention is to capture beautiful images, this is a little paradise for you.

Moreover, this part of the world is full of historical structures. If you want to capture every detail, carry additional battery and memory card.

The photos were captured using Sony a5100 mirrorless camera.
